When I hear the word poetry...

When I hear the word poetry I think of a long rhyming story, usually about love or nature. I think of something that someone is using to show their feelings in a short way that really gets the point across. I usually picture poems as being sweet and lovely dovey. I also see them as something that usually has a lot of meaning.

Mason :)

My mind could never write in words the way I feel about you.
Amazing how someone so small could change my life so major.
Seeing you smile can't compare to anything that I do.
Oh and how you act so stubborn I know how much we are similar.
Nothing will ever change how much your mommy loves you Mason!

Memories of...

The first time I heard your little heart beat.
The first time I felt you move inside me.
The first time both of our eyes got to meet.
The first time I had to wake up at three.

The first time you decided to smile.
The first time you opened Christmas presents.
The first time you crawled around for awhile.
The first time you showed me your great brilliance.

The first time I noticed your little tooth.
The first time I heard you call me mama.
The first time you tried to crawl out a booth.
The first time I dealt with your dad’s drama.

These are just a few of the memories,
That we will make together my dearie!
